Day 30 of 365:

{Simple, Single Image on Saturday}

Tired….pre-occupied and no ambition to write and compose new material for a post today.

Still sifting through all my archived photographs in my library though.  I do enjoy getting lost in the nostalgia of these images I captured in the past.  Like the rose above….I like the details and the soft shape of the petals.  Kinda dreamy, huh?

I think I may add this one to my portfolio…

Happy Saturday…

Namaste

Sunday: Tone

Day 17 of 365:

{Simple, Single Image On Sunday}

Hoar Frost, Black and White

Yes, still tinkering with tone on tone.  Yesterday, I used a white subject against a white background.  Today, my subject is still blending into its surroundings, but in black and white instead of colour.

I think I like this one better…but it still needs work.

Happy Sunday!

Saturday: Old Hello, Part 2

Day 9 of 365:

{Simple, Single Image on Saturday and Sunday}

Today I am looking back again, as I did last Saturday.  This time to see an old, familiar face from one of my earliest blog posts in January of 2012:

Winter Face (Greyscale Edit 2016 )

She was in my garden all year round – but I liked her best during the winter months.  My original blog post about her explains why.

I edited the image here as I always felt it was a little under exposed.  I also converted it from colour to greyscale.  I don’t usually muck around with my photos digitally, but I actually like this one better now.

Old Hello, Winter Face.

New Look.

Happy Saturday!

Namaste,

-Janice 🙂
