Weekly Photo Challenge: Optimistic

Day 26 of 365:

How do you fuel the fires of optimism?


I always try to start my week in way that makes me feel good.  Yesterday morning (Monday) I snapped two pics with my phone that perfectly sum up what I do to start my day (and the next four days) off on the right foot: (keep in mind, these images were taken at 6 am, so everything is a little dark!)

A healthy, satisfying, pre-workout bowl of plain oatmeal dressed up with pepitas, coconut, and dried cranberries.


My gym bag, packed and ready to go, where it waits for me by the front door.

My simple plan of attack to ward off the Monday Morning Heebie-Jeebies:

  1. Eat a healthy breakfast
  2. Go to the gym

These two simple steps are all I need to get me into a “Glass-Is-Amazingly-Full” frame of mind….
