Okay – so I thought I took a photo of a chairlift during the “off-season”, unused and empty.  What I realised when I looked at the image again during edits, is that the background is far more exciting than my intended subject.

As you can see, way off in the distance, nestled at the base of a ski hill in Ontario, a village sits… houses and condos, peaked roofs, green grass, empty trees and a lake in the distance…
