It seemed to take FOREVER to make it to post number 100.  How come getting to 200 was so easy and quick?

Is this blogging thing actually something I am getting the hang of?  Has it become such a part of me that I don’t even realise I am doing it?

I definitely feel that Writing The Girl has come into its own.  Oh sure, I’ve had my struggles, but I really feel I have hit my stride with all this writing, creating and posting.

As I sit here on this Friday evening, turning my emotions and thoughts into sentences, it all feels so natural.  The fact that I have reached the “Number Two Hundred” with my published posts gives me an odd sense of calm.  Before I know it, I will be posting my 300th…and then my goal will be within reach.  This gives me a mixture of excitement and inspiration I have not felt about anything else in a looooong time.

There is still so much this brain of mine wants to express.  Sure I have my “off” days…but my “on” days out number them.

Until the reverse is true, I will not give up.

(…Just an image I have been working on…I am not that big on “photo-shopping” my work, but every once in a while I will do some experimenting to see what I can come up with.  This started out as a very plain little flower bud – what I have now doesn’t even seem like a photographed image to me anymore…still, I like it!  I am thinking of framing it to hang on a wall in my new house…)
